Twitter For Real Estate-The New Local Paper

Before I get cranked up about telling you about Twitter. I want to discuss something that has been bothering me.  When I mention Twitter, more than a few people give me this answer. “I don’t like Twitter”, “I don’t Tweet that’s stupid” and so on and so on. These are people who’s weekly paycheck depends on getting new customers and they have already made up their mind that they ain’t tweeten.

Well if you are one of these “Anti Twitter Types” I would like you to suspend your disbelief long enough to set up a twitter account and do a search of the potential customers with in a 5 mile radius of your property.  You will be shocked to discover that you can send a message directly to their twitter accounts 100 times a day if you like.

I don’t recommend that but what I do recommend is inviting them to become a friend and give them some incentive to come over to take a look at your property, call you by phone, go to your blog, take a look at your Facebook fan page, check out your YouTube channel where you have short videos of your business or property.

Take any of your current advertising, like the advertising that you pay the newspaper, radio, apartment guide a tom of money for.

Take that ad and break it down in 140 character chunks and send it out over twitter to the people in your area that are likely customers, tenant, buyer, of your property.

You will need a program like people browser

It can organize your twitter friends by their GEO  location and other criteria.

People Browser lets you sift and sort your Twitter Friends by words, locations, hash-tags, You then can organize by the columns, customize your tweets and send the right message to the right segment of your friends.

You can get a basic version of People Browser for Free. A Plus version for $5 per month and a Super Pro version for $20 per month. I use the free version. So next time you are getting ready to write that several hundred dollar check to you local paper.

Why not give Twitter a try and focus on the same area that you paper reaches.  For more on Twitter sign up for one of my FREE Webinars here >> or check out This Special Report:>> http://budurl.com/XFactor20
